Back 2 School Label! (Free download)
It is that time of year when parents break out their best dance moves as they do the "First day of school" happy dance! It is also the time if year that us bakers try to do our very best to think of cute new ways to make school supplies into sweets! Trying to add cute little touches to take our treats to a cute factor in hopes that those sales will help pay the bills! How do you do that while still keeping prices comfortable for your clients but still make a profit? It is hard to have to come up with cute new ideas that you hope will launch you into a butter induced baking spree with tons of orders though :/ I get it! I am in the midst of transitioning into full time baker! I am legit stressed and excited all at once! I have put so many other things on my plate that local baked goods have taken a bit of a back seat so I am doing all I can to build up that amazing base of clients again. Pretty terrifying when you are gonna go full time in a few weeks, I KNOW! As with most things I am diving in feet first with no floatation devices. So, how can I use the tools I have to help boost my cute factor to get some much needed sales? I am gonna tell you how and share my fave tool too!
1. I love using free tools to design stuff! My fave one right now is called Picmonkey.com
I can use it for thumbnails to quick fliers and so much more! Give it a try and I think you will love it! It is so easy to use too!
2. My handy and oh so versatile *Cricut Explore Air 2 If you have been following me for a while you know I am a hardcore Cricut lover! I am always answering your questions for "Which machine should I buy?" and it makes me so happy when I get the pics of your new machine when you get them! I also love teaching the basics of what you can do with your machine in my classes too. (That was a shameless plug with a link to my class). I can make so much using my Cricut! From cake toppers to cute custom labels it really is one of the best investments I EVER made!
Using those two things I can create tons of fun goodies for my cake biz! I mean I hope you didn't think I had some magic pill to make it happen it legit is those two things that I use to make cute stuff. I know, it is totally that easy peasy peeps!
